RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE TO AMEND RESOUTION 142-24 TO REFLECT CORRECT AMOUNTS OF CRC FUNDING FROM COUNTY AND FEDERAL FUNDS
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 142-24 enacted on 3/21/24, the County Legislature approved a contract with Cornell Cooperative Extension Sullivan County to provide Caregiver Resource Center services for the Office for the Aging following an approved response to Request for Proposal R-24-10; and
WHEREAS, the funding breakdown in the resolution stated $18,000 is received from State funds and $32,600 is received from Federal funds for a total of $50,600 annually; and
WHEREAS, the correct breakdown of funding is $48,992 from Federal funds and $1,608 from County Funds; and
WHEREAS, the amount total for the contract does not change nor does the remainder of the agreed upon terms; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Sullivan County Legislature hereby authorizes the amendment of Resolution 142-24 to reflect that the Federal funding is $48,992, and County funding of $1,608 for the provision of Caregiver Resource Center services for a total not to exceed $50,600 annually, with an option to extend on a yearly basis for FOUR (4) additional years, under the same terms and conditions.
