To enter in contract with Eastern Aviation Fuels/Titan Aviation Fuels at the Sullivan County International Airport for the purchase of wholesale Jet-A fuel, 100LL Aviation Gasoline, the rental of a 5,000-gallon Jet-A refueler truck, and the rental of a 3,000-gallon Jet-A refueler truck. The term of the contract shall be for three years from the signed date and subject to two one-year extensions on a yearly basis.

RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY THE PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE TO AUTHORIZE AWARD AND EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT WITH EASTERN AVIATION FUELS/TITAN AVIATION FUELS FOR THE PURCHASE OF JET-A FUEL AND 100LL AVIATION GASOLINE AND THE RENTAL OF JET-A REFUELER TRUCKS
WHEREAS, Sullivan County is the owner of Sullivan County International Airport (MSV) operating under Federal Aviation Administration Part 139 Airport Certification; and
WHEREAS, The FAA in accordance with the Airport and Airport Improvement Act of 1982, 49 United States Code ?47101, et seq. requires the owner or operator of any airport developed or improved with federal grant assistance to operate the airport for the use and benefit of the public and make it available for all types, kinds, and classes of aeronautical activity; and
WHEREAS, making the Sullivan County International Airport available for all types of aeronautical activity includes the provision of fuel both Jet-A and 100LL Aviation Gasoline; and
WHEREAS, Sullivan County Resolution 411-18 authorizes the Sullivan County International Airport to register as a Jet-A and 100LL Aviation Gasoline fuel retailer; and
