Specify Compliance with Procurement Procedures: Reviewed response of the request for proposal with Director of Purchasing.

 

 

WHEREAS, the County of Sullivan, through the Department of Social Services is executing an agreement for the provision of services for a qualified individual for purposes of conducting assessments of youth in foster care in accordance with the Federal Family First Prevention Services Act (FFPSA); and

 

WHEREAS, the Department of Family Services wishes to award R-23-22 to the following contractors:

The Children’s Home of the Wyoming Conference

Westchester Institute for Human Development

St. Catherine’s Center for Children

Berkshire Farm Center and Services for Youth

 

For a qualified individual for services for the purposes of conducting assessments of the youth in foster care for the period of July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024. This agreement may be extended, upon mutual agreement, for four (4) additional years on a yearly basis.

 

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Sullivan County Legislature does hereby authorize the County Manager to execute an agreement with various contractors for the period of July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024. This agreement may be extended, upon mutual agreement, for four (4) additional years on a yearly basis; and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the amount of this agreement is not to exceed $80,000 ($20,000 per contractor/per contract year); and

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the form of said contracts will be approved by the Sullivan County Attorney’s Office.
