RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY HUMAN RESOURCES COMMITTEE TO RECLASSIFY POSITION #231 FROM PRINCIPAL ACCOUNT CLERK TO PRINCIPAL ACCOUNT CLERK/DATABASE SPECIALIST
WHEREAS, position #231 is currently designated as Principal Account Clerk in the Department of Public Health, and
WHEREAS, a job classification questionnaire was submitted by said employee and her supervisor and it has been determined by the Personnel Officer that the said employee is currently assigned some duties that are above her current title of Principal Account Clerk, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to reclassify position #231to Principal Account Clerk/Database Specialist to handle the existing work volume in the Department and make efficient use of this position, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Health recommends, after discussion with the Personnel Officer, that position #231 should be reclassified to Principal Account Clerk/Database Specialist, and the incumbent is eligible to be appointed from the Certified list for Principal Account Clerk/Database Specialist.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Sullivan County Legislature hereby authorizes the reclassification of position #231 in the Department of Public Health from Principal Account Clerk to Principal Account Clerk/Database Specialist effective immediately.
