RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY HUMAN RESOURCES COMMITTEE TO RECLASSIFY POSITION #2981 FROM SENIOR TYPIST TO ADMINISTRATIVE AIDE
WHEREAS, position #2981 is currently designated as Senior Typist in the Department of Public Health, and
WHEREAS, a job classification questionnaire was submitted by said employee and her supervisor and it has been determined by the Personnel Officer that the said employee is currently assigned some duties that are above her current title of Senior Typist, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to reclassify position #2981 to Administrative Aide to handle the existing work volume in the Department and make efficient use of this position, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Health recommends, after discussion with the Personnel Officer, that position #2981 should be reclassified to Administrative Aide, and the incumbent is eligible to be appointed from the Certified list for Administrative Aide.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Sullivan County Legislature hereby authorizes the reclassification of position #2981 in the Department of Public Health from Senior Typist to Administrative Aide effective immediately.
