RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY THE HUMAN RESOURCES COMMITTEE TO CREATE A COUNTY CLERK FINANCIAL WORKER POSITION IN THE SULLIVAN COUNTY CLERK’S OFFICE
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the County Clerk to abolish a County Clerk Worker Trainee position No. 3525.
WHEREAS, County Clerk Russell Reeves has expressed a need to create a County Clerk Financial Worker position in the County Clerk’s Office to provide backup and support to the Junior Accountant in the County Clerk’s Office; and
WHEREAS, the Financial Worker will also be backup and support throughout the office for County Clerk Worker I and II’s; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Sullivan County Legislature
hereby approves the Resolution to create a County Clerk Financial Worker position within the County Clerk’s Office; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the annual salary for this new position is $49,898 and will be Grade 8A according to the Teamsters Local 445 Salary Schedule

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Sullivan County Clerk has the authority to
immediately fill the County Clerk Financial Worker position, with backfills if applicable.
