RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY THE PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE TO AUTHORIZE THE COUNTY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT FOR PAINTING SERVICES FOR REPAINTING OF RUNWAY 15-33 EDGE STRIPES WITH HI-LITE AIRFIELD SERVICES, LLC
WHEREAS, the Division of Public Works (DPW) is required to repaint the runway edge stripes on Runway 15-33 to come into compliance with Federal Aviation Administration regulation CFR Part 139.311 (d); and
WHEREAS, HI-LITE Painting Services, LLC has competitively bid and won a Sourcewell airfield markings contract #110122-HLA; and
WHEREAS, HI-LITE Painting Services, LLC will supply and apply Waterborne Type III white paint and Type III glass beads over an area 6298 feet in length by 3 feet wide for Runway 15 and Runway 33.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Manager is authorized to execute an agreement with HI-LITE Airfield Services, LLC in an amount not to exceed $22,614.00 in accordance with proposal #23-17733-P; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said agreements to be in such form as the County Attorney shall approve.
