RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY LEGISLATORS DOHERTY, BROOKS, AND CONKLIN, TO AUTHORIZE CONTRACT FOR SCIA TERMINAL PROJECT ASSISTANCE WITH MCFARLAND JOHNSON, INC.
WHEREAS, McFarland Johnson, Inc., 49 Court St., Suite 240, Binghamton, NY 13901 is the current Airport Consulting Engineer; and
WHEREAS, the County of Sullivan is in the process of designing and constructing a new terminal building at the Sullivan County International Airport; and
WHEREAS, the County has identified several tasks related to the terminal project with which it requires engineering assistance from McFarland Johnson, including but not limited to conducting a Project Labor Agreement Study and various FAA project specific tasks; and
WHEREAS, McFarland Johnson, Inc. has provided the Division of Public Works a fee schedule regarding these identified tasks.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Sullivan County Legislature authorizes the County Manager to enter into contract with McFarland Johnson for these engineering assistance services, in such form as the County Attorney shall approve, in an amount not to exceed $60,000.
