RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE TO AUTHORIZE A LEASE FOR USE OF CLASSROOM SPACE AT THE SULLIVAN COUNTY EMERGENCY SERVICES TRAINING CENTER
WHEREAS, the County of Sullivan (“County”) has available classroom space at the Sullivan County Emergency Services Training Center; and
WHEREAS, the County has been approached by Sullivan County Board of Cooperative Education Services (“BOCES”) seeking to lease office space; and
WHEREAS, BOCES desires to provide students with a Fire Science / EMS Career & Tech program; and
WHEREAS, BOCES desires to lease classroom space for a period of three years to conduct their Fire Science / EMS Career & Tech program; and
WHEREAS, it is in the County’s best interest to authorize the leasing of such classroom space to BOCES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Manager or Chairman of the Legislature is authorized to execute an agreement to lease classroom space and that such agreement shall be in a form approved by the County Attorney’s Office.
