RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE TO ADOPT THE LEASE POLICY IN ACCORDANCE WITH GASB 87 FOR THE COUNTY OF SULLIVAN
WHEREAS, the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (“GASB”) Statement No. 87 establishes a single model for lease accounting for government entities; and
WHEREAS, it is required that this statement be implemented for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2022; and
WHEREAS, said attached Policy needs to be formally adopted for the County of Sullivan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the attached Policy be formally adopted and made effective for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2022.
