RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES COMMITTEE
TO AUTHORIZE AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN SULLIVAN COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH, DELAWARE COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH AND ROLLING V TO ALLOW A RIDE SHARE WITH DELAWARE COUNTY STUDENT ON A CURRENT BUS ROUTE

Amount to be authorized by Resolution: : $609.68 per vehicle each day- half of this to be paid by Delaware County
Are funds already budgeted? Yes
Specify Compliance with Procurement Procedures: Once the resolution is passed, budget modifications will be made to include Delaware County’s share of cost .
WHEREAS, Resolution #34-22, #197-22 and # 51-23 authorized award and execution of an agreement with Rolling V Bus Corporation, PO Box 110, Route 4, South Fallsburg, NY 12779, and,
WHEREAS, there is a need to create a Ride/Share agreement between Public Health, Delaware County Public Health and Rolling V to allow a Delaware County student to ride on an existing Rolling V route for Early Intervention Transportation Services; and
WHEREAS, the cost of the current route will be divided between Sullivan County Public Health and Delaware County Public Health- as per the attached Ride/Share Rate Formula, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Manager be and hereby is authorized to execute a Ride/Share agreement between Sullivan County Public Health, Delaware County Public Health and Rolling V Bus Corporation for said route and the cost of this route be shared between Public Health and Delaware County; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said agreement be approved by the Sullivan County Department of Law.
