RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE TO AUTHORIZE AWARD & EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT FOR THE RENTAL OF PORTABLE ASPHALT CRUSHING EQUIPMENT AND OPERATOR

 

WHEREAS, bids were received for the Rental of Portable Asphalt Crushing Equipment and Operator; and

 

WHEREAS, Villager Construction Inc., 425 Old Macedon Center Road,

 Fairport, NY 14450 is the lowest responsible bidder for this project; and

 

WHEREAS, the Sullivan County Division of Public Works has reviewed said bid and recommends that a contract be executed; and

 

WHEREAS, this contract is for a one (1) year period and may be extended, upon mutual agreement, on a yearly basis, for four (4) additional years.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Manager be and hereby is authorized to execute an agreement with Villager Construction, Inc., at a total price not to exceed $182,450.00 per year, and in accordance with B-23-05, said contract to be in such form as the County Attorney shall approve.
