enRESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE TO AUTHORIZE AN AGREEMENT WITH SULLIVAN COUNTY PAVING & CONSTRUCTION INCORPORATED FOR THE HAMLET OF KOHLERTOWN FLOOD RISK REDUCTION PROJECT CONSTRUCTION WORK
WHEREAS, bid proposals were received, to construct the work needed for the Kohlertown Flood Risk Reduction Project along County Road 164 in the Town of Delaware, Hamlet of Kohlertown; and
WHEREAS, Sullivan County Paving & Construction Incorporated is the lowest responsible bidder; and
WHEREAS, the project is eligible for 50% State funding by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation’s Climate Smart Communities Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, the Division of public Works has reviewed the bids and recommends award of the work to Sullivan County Paving & Construction Incorporated with office at 1936 State Route 17B, White Lake, NY 12786.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Manager is authorized to execute an agreement with Sullivan County Paving & Construction Incorporated in an amount not to exceed $1,694,773.50, in accordance with Bid No. B-23-04, and shall be in such form as the County Attorney shall approve.
