RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE TO CREATE A JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT POSITION IN THE CENTER FOR WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the Center for Workforce Development (CWD) is in need of hiring a Junior Accountant position under the Teamsters Grade X Contracts; and .
WHEREAS, the Center for Workforce Development has been operating for two years without Fiscal staff, as the Director has been filling both jobs. A fiscal position is needed in order to maintain the grant funding streams which are increasing through the Federal Government; and
WHEREAS, the Center for Workforce Development is federally funded and the full cost of this position would be covered under grant funding; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Sullivan County Legislature hereby agrees to the creation of a Junior Accountant position for the Center for Workforce Development.
