RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH UTICA UNIVERSITY
WHEREAS, Utica University maintains a program which awards a degree in Social Work
and wishes to assign students to the Department of Community Services (“DCS”)
for practical experience; and
WHEREAS, DCS wishes to enter into an agreement with Utica University to permit qualified students to participate in said educational program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with Utica University; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said agreement shall be for a period of two (2) years
and shall commence on May 1, 2022 and terminate on April 30, 2024, unless sooner
terminated in accordance with the terms and provisions of the agreement. The agreement
shall be renewable for one (1) additional two (2) year terms upon prior written notice by
one party to the other, at least ninety (90) days, or such other time if mutually agreed in
writing by the parties, prior to the expiration of the current term, of their intent to
renew said agreement; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the form of said agreement shall be approved by the Sullivan County Attorney’s Office
