RESOLUTION INTRODUCTION BY HEALTH AND HUMAN COMMITTEE TO AUTHORIZE THE COUNTY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AGREEMENT BETWEEN DSS AND FEARLESS! HUDSON VALLEY, INC.
WHEREAS, the County of Sullivan through the Department of Social Services is executing
an agreement with Fearless! of Hudson Valley for Domestic Violence Services; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Social Services wishes to award RFP-21-12 to Fearless! of Hudson Valley for the period of April 1, 2022 through March 31, 2023. This agreement may be
extended, upon mutual agreement, for four (4) additional years on a yearly basis
at an amount not to exceed $250,000 a year, and
WHEREAS, the County of Sullivan will receive funding as follows, funds from
the state in the amount of $43,000, funds from other resources
in the amount of $207,000, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Sullivan County Legislature does
hereby authorize the County Manager to execute agreement with Fearless! of Hudson Valley
for nonresidential domestic violence services during the period from
April 1, 2022 through March 31, 2023; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, these contracts are at the County’s discretion,
subject to annual appropriation; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the maximum of these contracts
not-to-exceed amount of $250,000 per year; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the form of said contract will be
approved by the Sullivan County Department of Law.
