RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE TO AUTHORIZE THE COUNTY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH PRIME RIVERA LLC D/B/A BROOKLYN KITCHEN FOR SUPPLEMENTAL MEALS FOR THE SULLIVAN COUNTY OFFICE FOR THE AGING
WHEREAS, the County of Sullivan, through the Sullivan County Office for the Aging, operates a federally funded nutrition program that includes the provision of meals to older adults in Sullivan County in accordance with the Older Americans Act of 1965; and
WHEREAS, the Sullivan County Office for the Aging requires supplemental meal services to support its existing nutrition operations, including the provision of frozen, medically tailored, therapeutic, shelf-stable, and emergency meals, as needed; and
WHEREAS, the County of Sullivan issued Request for Proposals No. R-26-23 for Home Delivered Meals for the Sullivan County Office for the Aging; and
WHEREAS, Prime Riviera LLC d/b/a Brooklyn Kitchen submitted a proposal in response to RFP No. R-26-23 and has the capacity to prepare and deliver supplemental meals to eligible older adults throughout Sullivan County; and
WHEREAS, the proposal submitted by Prime Riviera LLC d/b/a Brooklyn Kitchen provides for standard, frozen, medically tailored, and therapeutic meals at a rate of $8.89 per meal, inclusive of delivery ...
