RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE TO AUTHORIZE A CONTRACT EXTENSION TO EASTERN AVIATION FUELS/TITAN AVIATION FUELS FOR THE PURCHASE OF AVIATION KERO-JET AND AVIATION GASOLINE AND THE RENTAL OF A KERO-JET REFUELER TRUCK
WHEREAS, Eastern Aviation Fuels/Titan Aviation Fuels has served as the supplier of Jet-A and AVGAS and rental provider of two refueler trucks for the Sullivan County International Airport via a multiyear contract (B-18-76) since January 1, 2019; and
WHEREAS, this contract is set to expire on December 31, 2023 and the Sullivan County Division of Public Works is preparing a bid document for a full-service agreement for this service; and
WHEREAS, Eastern Aviation Fuels/Titan has agreed to extend their 2023 contract pricing and service on a month to month basis, not to exceed six (6) months, to allow the County time for the proper bidding process.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Manager be and hereby is authorized to extend the Eastern Aviation Fuels/Titan Aviation Fuels contract on a month to month basis from January 1, 2024 until June 30, 2024 under the same terms and conditions of the original contract and to be in such form as the County Attorney shall approve.
