RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE TO AUTHORIZE THE EXECUTION OF A TEMPORARY EASEMENT FOR THE RELOCATION OF A NEW YORK STATE ELECTRIC AND GAS (NYSEG) UTILITY POLE FOR THE REPLACEMENT OF BRIDGE 77 IN THE TOWN OF HIGHLAND.
WHEREAS, a temporary easement is needed by NYSEG to allow the temporary relocation of a utility pole on County property Town of Highland 15. -1-8.17 to enable the replacement of County Bridge 77; and
WHEREAS, the pole will be relocated by NYSEG at no cost to the County.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Legislature approves of the temporary easement to be provided to NYSEG; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Manager of the County of Sullivan be and is hereby authorized to execute an easement and any associated documents necessary to relocate the NYSEG utility pole on parcel Town of Highland 15. -1 -8.17, said easement to be in such form as the County Attorney shall approve.
