Government Services
January 9, 2025 (canceled due to National Day of Mourning)
February 6, 2025

The Board of Elections was extremely busy over the last year, having conducted three (3) countywide elections (Presidential Primary, State/Local Primary and the General Election). We would like to thank our office staff and Election Inspectors for their hard work and dedication. We would also like to thank John Liddle and Public Health for their hospitality during Early Voting, Chris Knapp, Dan Hust, DPW, the Sheriff's Department, the IT Department, Purchasing, Laura Quigley, Lise-Anne Deoul and Scott Schulte for the support they provided to our office last year (in some cases daily) to help us conduct three elections, but especially the Presidential in November. A huge thank you to Tom Cawley for his legal support to the BOE over the years!

We were elated to receive a $50,000 grant last year from the Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL). We were finally able to purchase additional equipment we have been requesting funding for since 2019. We would like to thank Jennifer and Art in Grants for helping us navigate through the process.

We are currently working on our end-of-the-year housekeeping as well as preparing for the next election cycle to begin. Petitioning will begin in February with the first round of petitions due by April!

Important Dates, Deadlines & Information:
* The "Even Year Law" is on direct appeal to the Court of Appeals
