RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY THE PLANNING AND COMMUNITY RESOURCES COMMITTEE TO AUTHORIZE A MODIFICATION OF RESOLUTION NUMBER 389-25 ADOPTED ON SEPTEMBER 18, 2025.
WHEREAS, the County of Sullivan, through the Sullivan County Youth Bureau, entered into contracts with Sullivan Public for the period October 1, 2025 through September 30, 2026, for the following programs:
Contract YS 134: Kids Afterschool Program, in an amount not to exceed $10,000; and
Contract YS 70.1: Sunday Free Art Classes, in an amount not to exceed $5,000; and
WHEREAS, supporting payment documentation includes a check dated in October 2026, after the expiration of the contract periods; and
WHEREAS, following consultation with legal counsel, extensions of both contract periods through November 1, 2026 are necessary to cover the October check date and permit processing of the outstanding reimbursement vouchers; and
WHEREAS, these extensions require no increase in the approved contract amounts;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Sullivan County Legislature hereby authorizes the extension of Sullivan Public contracts YS 134 and YS 70.1 from September 30, 2026 through November 1, 2026, to permit processing of the outstanding reimbursement vouchers within the existing contract amounts; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Manager is authorized to execute the necessary contract amendments, in a form approved by the County Attorney; and
