RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE TO AUTHORIZE THE COUNTY MANAGER TO SIGN A LEASE AGREEMENT WITH SQUARES OF LIBERTY LLC FOR SPACE AT 93 HIGHT STREET, MONTICELLO, NEW YORK
WHEREAS, the Squares of Liberty LLC leases office space at 93 High Street, Monticello, New York; and
WHEREAS, the Human Rights Department needs office space outside the Sullivan County Government Center to provide a private and confidential environment for individuals seeking services and assistance from the Department; and
WHEREAS, the proposed lease agreement is for a term of five (5) years, consisting of sixty (60) months, commencing September 1, 2026; and
WHEREAS, the monthly lease cost shall not exceed Nine Hundred Dollars ($900.00) per month;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Manager is hereby authorized to sign a lease agreement with Squares of Liberty LLC for office space for the Human Rights Department at 93 High Street for a term of five (5) years (60 months), commencing September 1, 2026, at a cost not to exceed Nine Hundred Dollars ($900.00) per month; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that such lease shall be in a form approved by the County Attorney.
