RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE TO MODIFY RESOLUTION NO. 398-23 TO INCREASE/DECREASE CONTRACT COSTS

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 398-23 authorized the County Manager to enter into agreements in accordance with R-23-17, Opioid Settlement Funds; and

WHEREAS, Resolution No. 272-24 modified resolution No. 398-23 to include a modified contract period language of “for a one (1) year period and upon mutual agreement two (2) yearly extensions under the same terms and conditions”; and

WHEREAS, proposals resulting in increases and decreases have been received requiring the authorization to execute agreements to be updated; and

WHEREAS, the attached chart reflects updated authorization amounts resulting in a net decrease of $308,242 in the last remaining contract term.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Manager be and hereby is authorized to execute all the attached agreements for a one-year period of July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026 and said contracts to be in such form as the County Attorney shall approve; and

BE IT FURHTER RESOLVED, Resolution No. 398-23 is hereby modified per the attached “Updated Authorization Amounts”; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all other provisions of Resolution No. 398-23 and Resolution No. 272-24 shall remain unchanged.
