RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE TO RESCIND RESOLUTION #602-24 AND AUTHORIZE AN AGREEMENT WITH WINSLOW TECHNOLOGY GROUP
WHEREAS, Resolution #602-24, adopted by the Sullivan County Legislature on December 19, 2024 should be rescinded in its entirety as a result of disagreeable vendor contract terms and insurance provisions; and
WHEREAS, the Sullivan County Division of Information Technology Services (‘ITS’) still wishes to engage in a technical security assessment of our network infrastructure; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of said assessment is to focus on and expose any potential vulnerabilities and to determine our organization's risk in order for ITS to perform any necessary remediation; and
WHEREAS, after review and consultation by ITS with multiple vendors, Winslow Technology Group (‘WTG’), 303 Wyman Street, Waltham, MA 02451 will best serve this need.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Manager is hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with WTG for a total cost not to exceed $21,150.00; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said agreement to be in such form as the County Attorney shall approve.
