RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE TO AUTHORIZE A CONTRACT WITH BOLD GOLD MEDIA GROUP TO PROVIDE SERVICES UNDER THE WIOA (WORKFORCE INNOVATION AND OPPORTUNITY ACT)
WHEREAS, the Center for Workforce Development is responsible for the administration and implementation of the Federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Title 1B funds; and
WHEREAS, the Center for Workforce Development issued a Request for Proposal RFP #24-35 for a Comprehensive Outreach Strategic Plan to be developed, branded and delivered for both the general public and business community of Sullivan County in order to brand awareness of services and programs; and
WHEREAS, Bold Gold Media Group was chosen out of the three respondents to provide the service sought after; and
WHEREAS, Bold Gold Media Group will provide the services from November 1, 2024 through October 31, 2026 in an amount not to exceed $70,000. This is an anticipated two (2) year contract contingent upon year one deliverables and success which will lead into year two. The contract may be renewable for an additional two (2) years, based upon availability of funds, success of deliverables, quality of products and other criteria as determined.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Manager is hereby authorized to execute a Contract Agreement with Bold Gold Media Group as described above. Said agreement is to be in the form approved by the County Attorney, and contingent upon the County receiving the necessary federal allocations.
