RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY THE MANAGEMENT & BUDGET COMMITTEE TO AUTHORIZE A MULTI-YEAR AGREEMENT WITH SYSTEMS EAST, INC. FOR APPLICATION SOFTWARE AND SUPPORT SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Sullivan County Treasurer’s Office utilizes application software provided by Systems East, Inc. in support of its tax collection and related operations; and
WHEREAS, Systems East, Inc. provides software maintenance, application enhancements, cloud hosting, technical support, training and general system support associated with the applications utilized by the Treasurer’s Office; and
WHEREAS, the Treasurer’s Office wishes to continue utilizing the software and support services provided by Systems East, Inc. for the period January 1, 2027 through December 31, 2028; and
WHEREAS, the proposed agreement includes support and maintenance for the Total Collection Solution and an upgrade to the Total Collection Solution during the 2027 contract year; and
WHEREAS, the total cost of the agreement for the two-year period shall not exceed $85,190.00, consisting of $49,610.00 for the 2027 contract year and $35,580.00 for the 2028 contract year.
