RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY CATHERINE SCOTT, CHAIR OF THE HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES COMMITTEE TO AUTHORIZE THE COUNTY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH ECOLAB, INC. TO REPLACE DISHWASHING EQUIPMENT AT THE SULLIVAN COUNTY ADULT CARE CENTER

 

WHEREAS, the dishwasher currently in use at the Sullivan County Adult Care Center is beyond its useful service life and has become extremely unreliable; and

 WHEREAS, a fully functioning dishwasher is essential to the good health and quality of life for residents of the Care Center; and

 WHEREAS, the County provided a request for proposals (R-25-24), and received a response from Ecolab for the removal of old and installation of this new dishwashing equipment; and

 WHEREAS, after review of the proposal the Division of Public Works recommends award of lease contract with Ecolab for the replacement of the dishwasher and its associated components.

 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Manager be and hereby is authorized to execute any and all agreements to enter into a lease agreement with Ecolab, Inc., 1 Ecolab Place, St. Paul, MN 55102, in an annual amount not to exceed $9,288.00, with the opportunity to extend for a maximum of 60 months, in such form as the County Attorney shall approve.
