RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY MATTHEW MCPHILLIPS, DISTRICT 1 LEGISLATOR, TO CREATE A POSITION IN THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS, RECREATION, AND BEAUTIFICATION
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks, Recreation and Beautification has an immediate need to create a seasonal Parks Manager position for the upcoming season at Lake Superior Park; and
WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Planning, Community Development and Environmental Management recommends, after discussion with the County Manager, that a seasonal Park Manager position be created.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Sullivan County Legislature hereby authorizes the creation of the position of Park Manager (Seasonal) in the Department of Parks, Recreation and Beautification for Lake Superior Park; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the hourly rate is set at $25.00 per hour; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the created position above has authority to be filled immediately.
