WHEREAS, Budget Position (BP) #3476 is currently designated as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Per Diem in the Public Health Department; and
WHEREAS, the Director of the Department of Public Health has determined that the needs of the Public Health Department would be better served with a Full Time LPN; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to reclassify BP #3476 from an LPN Per Diem to an LPN Full Time.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Sullivan County Legislature hereby authorizes the reclassification of BP #3476 in the Public Health Department from LPN Per Diem to LPN Full Time to be effective on January 1, 2024; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this position be immediately filled by the Director of the Department of Public Health with a qualified candidate.
