RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY THE MANAGEMENT & BUDGET COMMITTEE TO AUTHORIZE A PRODUCT ORDER FORM WITH DARKTRACE FOR CYBERSECURITY SERVICES
WHEREAS, the County of Sullivan currently utilizes Darktrace cybersecurity technology and services as part of its information security environment; and
WHEREAS, the Division of Information Technology Services (ITS) continuously evaluates the County’s technology and cybersecurity infrastructure to maintain appropriate levels of availability, resiliency and operational continuity; and
WHEREAS, ITS has identified modifications to the County’s existing Darktrace environment that will provide enhanced redundancy and continuity in the event of an equipment or service disruption; and
WHEREAS, implementation of these modifications requires execution of a ‘Product Order Form’ with Darktrace; and
WHEREAS, ITS recommends proceeding with the proposed amendment to enhance the resiliency and availability of the County’s cybersecurity services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Manager is hereby authorized to execute a ‘Product Order Form’ with Darktrace for modifications to the County’s cybersecurity environment to provide enhanced redundancy, resiliency and operational continuity, in an amount not to exceed $17,000.00; and
