Resolution to authorize the rental of a second re-fueler truck to manage potential increased fuel sales which are projected to increase significantly with new tenants. WHEREAS, Bid #B-18-76 for Aviation Fuel and Truck Rental for the Sullivan County Airport was issued and awarded to TITAN Shell Aviation through Resolution 531-18; and
WHERAS, it has been determined that the Airport is in need of an additional refueling truck as the volume sold and demand for Kero-Jet A fuel has increased, necessitating an increase in Airfield fuel capacity; and
WHERAS, TITAN Shell Aviation will provide this additional rental vehicle at a cost of $1900.00 per month; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Sullivan County Legislature authorizes the County Manager to sign the necessary agreements, contracts and documentation, in such form as the County Attorney shall approve, to enter in contract with TITAN Shell Aviation at the Sullivan County International Airport for the rental of a second Kero-Jet Refueler truck at $1900.00 per month. The term of the contract shall be in accordance with the Resolution 531-18;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a certified copy of this resolution be attached to any necessary agreements in connection with this project; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution shall take effect immediately.
