Specify Compliance with Procurement Procedures:
WHEREAS, the Legislature previously authorized services for Prime Care Medical Inc. to provide mandatory medical and mental health services to the inmate population of the Sullivan County Jail through RFP R-21-17 via Resolution No. 257-21; and
WHEREAS, said services were subsequently modified through Resolution No. 168-22 to add MAT and substance abuse counseling.
WHEREAS, the current contract, as extended, is scheduled to expire on August 15, 2026, and;
WHEREAS, the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office is currently in the process of drafting a new Request for Proposals (RFP) to procure these services for a future term; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to continue these services without interruption to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of the inmate population while the new RFP process is completed and a new contract is awarded; and
WHEREAS, Prime Care Medical Inc. has agreed to extend its services under the existing terms, conditions, and current pricing of RFP R-21-17 and Resolution No. 257-21 and No.168-22, through December 31, 2026.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED .. That the County Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a modification agreement, approved as to form by the County Attorney's Office, as follows: The services previously authorized under RFP R-21-17 and Resolution No. 257-21 and No. 168.22 are hereby extended through December 31, 2026, in accordance with current pricing as per the cost proposal and ann...
