WHEREAS, the Legislature is conducting a search and interviews for a County Attorney to assume the position for the term of the Legislature, and
WHEREAS, until such time that a permanent County Attorney has been selected the Legislature desires to temporarily appoint a temporary acting County Attorney to fulfill the statutory role of the office.
NO, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Sullivan County Legislature hereby appoints Robert Freehill as temporary acting County Attorney until such time that the Legislature appoints a permanent County Attorney to serve the term of office of the Legislature, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Legislature sets the salary of the temporary acting County Attorney at $180,920.
