RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY THE MANAGEMENT & BUDGET COMMITTEE AUTHORIZING THE COUNTY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AN INTERMUNICIPAL AGREEMENT WITH THE TOWN OF THOMPSON FOR SHARED LASERFICHE ELECTRONIC CONTENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM HOSTING AND SUPPORT SERVICES
WHEREAS, Article 5-G of the New York State General Municipal Law authorizes municipal corporations to enter into intermunicipal agreements for the performance of municipal cooperative activities and the provision of shared municipal services; and
WHEREAS, Sullivan County, through its Division of Information Technology Services, maintains and administers a Laserfiche Enterprise Content Management System that provides secure electronic document management, records management, and information governance services; and
WHEREAS, Sullivan County has successfully provided Laserfiche hosting, administration, maintenance, licensing management, and technical support services to the Town of Thompson pursuant to a prior Intermunicipal Agreement, and the parties desire to continue this shared services arrangement through a new five (5) year agreement under which the Town shall pay the County an annual fee of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) for such services; and
