RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY LUIS A. ALVAREZ, CHAIRMAN OF THE PUBLIC SAFETY AND LAW ENFORCEMENT COMMITTEE TO CREATE A PART TIME CHIEF DEPUTY-PATROL DIVISION/INTERNAL AFFAIRS POSITION IN THE SULLIVAN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
WHEREAS, the Chief Deputy-Patrol Division/Internal Affairs, has been out on an extended leave and will be out for an undetermined amount of time; and
WHEREAS, the Sheriff has determined that there is a need for a part time Chief Deputy-Patrol Division/Internal Affairs to ensure that the services of this office continue seamlessly.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Sullivan County Legislature hereby creates a part time Chief Deputy-Patrol Division/Internal Affairs position not to exceed 30 hours bi-weekly with an hourly rate of $55.00 with no benefits; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Sullivan County Legislature gives approval for the part time position to be filled immediately.
