RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE TO EXTEND AWARD AND EXECUTION OF A CONTRACT FOR TECHNOLOGY SERVICES
WHEREAS, a Request for Proposals (#R-24-22) was issued in 2024 by Sullivan County for a Technology Platform capable of surveying citizens, streamlining social media posting and assessing community sentiment on issues of concern and interest; and
WHEREAS, a series of proposals were received, the most comprehensive being provided by Zencity Technologies US, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the Legislature authorized the award and execution of a one-year contract with Zencity in June 2024; and
WHEREAS, the County Manager’s Office (who is the end user) recommends Zencity be retained in this capacity for another year, with an option to extend the contract for up to an additional four years.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Manager is authorized to execute a contract with the above vendor at a cost not to exceed $24,000 annually, commencing July 1, 2025 and running for a 12-month term, with an annual option to extend; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said order form to be in such form as the County Attorney shall approve.
