RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY THE HUMAN RESOURCES COMMITTEE TO RECLASSIFY TWO POSITIONS CURRENTLY IN THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES
WHEREAS, there are currently two fiscal positions budgeted in the Department of Social Services Accounting Unit; and
WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Management and Budget, in conjunction with the Commissioner of the Department of Social Services, the Commissioner of Human Resources and the County Manager’s office, have determined these positions should more appropriately report to the Division of Management and Budget; and
WHEREAS, moving these positions to A-1340 Management and Budget creates a centralized reporting of fiscal functions consistent with other County departments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Sullivan County Legislature hereby authorizes the reclassification of the following positions from A-6010-50 DSS Accounting to
A-1340 Management and Budget:
Position 3103 Budget Analyst
Position 3729 Sr. Budget Analyst
