RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY NICHOLAS SALOMONE, CHAIR OF THE GOVERNMENT SERVICES COMMITTEE TO ADOPT THE 2026-2027 SULLIVAN COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE BUDGET
WHEREAS, the Sullivan County Community College Board of Trustees has filed its 2026-2027 Operating Budget with the Sullivan County Legislature, and
WHEREAS, the proposed budget for 2026-2027 has appropriations in the amount of $15,352,469 with the County Share to be raised by tax revenue in the amount of $4,950,000 for the purposes of the Operating Budget and $50,000 for County Employee Tuition, and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the 2026-2027 Operating Budget be approved in the amount of $15,352,469 and the County’s share to be levied and assessed against the taxable real property of Sullivan County on the 2027 tax rolls at $4,950,000 for the purposes of the Operating Budget and $50,000 for County Employee Tuition.
