RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE AUTHORIZING INTERMUNICIPAL AGREEMENT WITH THE TOWN OF NEVERSINK.
Legislators Doherty, and Salamone offer the following:
WHEREAS, The Town of Neversink has resolved to enter into an inter-municipal agreement with the county of Sullivan to provide Court Officers to the Town those times when the Town Court is in session., and
WHEREAS: The County of Sullivan is committed, within limits of resources to maintain public safety throughout Sullivan County and promote the efficient operation of our Courts; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Neversink has resolved to pay the County of Sullivan at the rate of $50.00 per hour for services of deputies;
NOW THEREFORE IT IS:
RESOLVED: That the County Manager or the Chairman of the Sullivan County Legislature is hereby authorized to enter into an inter-municipal agreement with the Town of Neversink to provide a Sheriff Deputy at a rate of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per hour , for hours when the Town of Neversink Court is in session; and it is further
RESOLVED: That this resolution shall take effect immediately,
