RESOLUTION NO. INTRODUCED BY BRIAN MCPHILLIPS, CHAIRMAN OF THE MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET COMMITTEE TO REASSESS WATER RENTS FOR THE TOWN OF BETHEL OUTSIDE DISTRICT USERS OF THE STEVENSVILLE WATER DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Town Board of the Town of Bethel has certified to the Sullivan County Legislature a list of unpaid water rents for the outside district users of the Stevensville Water District and has requested the levy thereof on the 2025 tax roll of the Town of Bethel.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that pursuant to the provisions of the Town Law, the unpaid water rents of the outside district users of the Stevensville Water District amounting to $16,792.15 be and the same are hereby levied and assessed against the properties set forth in the aforementioned certified list, on the 2025 tax roll to the Town of Bethel, the same when collected to be paid to the Supervisor of said Town, to be paid by him to those entitled thereto.
