RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE TO AUTHORIZE AN ADDENDUM TO AN ESTABLISHED SHARED SERVICES INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH NEW YORK STATE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES AND THE NEW YORK STATE DIVISION OF HOMELAND SECURITY AND EMERGENCY SERVICES
WHEREAS, Resolution #351-22, adopted by the Sullivan County Legislature on August 18, 2022, authorized a shared service intergovernmental agreement (IGA) between the County of Sullivan (County) and the New York State Office of Information Technology Services (NYS ITS) and the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services (DHSES); and
WHEREAS, the original executed agreement provided by New York State ITS and DHSES, omitted the value of said shared services licenses they've provided to the County at no cost; and
WHEREAS, an addendum is necessary to the IGA to present the dollar value associated with the endpoint detection and response (EDR) software provisioned to the County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Sullivan County Legislature hereby authorizes the County Manager, to execute 'ADDENDUM NUMBER 1' to the original IGA between the County, NYS ITS, and DHSES reflecting the 3-year no-cost value of the provisioned EDR software ($1,000,741.32) and shall be approved as to form by the County Attorney's Office.
