RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY PUBLIC SAFETY AND LAW ENFORCEMENT COMMITTEE AUTHORIZING AGREEMENTS WITH PUBLIC SAFETY PSYCHOLOGY, PLLC FOR PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION SERVICES FOR SULLIVAN COUNTY 911 CENTER APPLICANTS
WHEREAS, the Sullivan County 911 Center is responsible qualified personnel to provide emergency communications and public safety services; and
WHEREAS, Sullivan County seeks to ensure that applicants for public safety positions undergo appropriate pre-employment screening in accordance with applicable requirements and standards; and
WHEREAS, Public Safety Psychology, PLLC, has submitted a proposal to provide psychological evaluations for applicants for public safety positions with the Sullivan County 911 Center; and
WHEREAS, such evaluations will consist of psychological tests and an individual interview with a New York State licensed psychologist trained in police and public safety evaluations; and
WHEREAS, the proposed fee from Public Safety Psychology PLLC, is $350.00 per completed evaluation, with a $75.00 test scoring charge for an applicant who completes the questionnaires but does not attend the interview; and
WHEREAS, the County desires to enter into an agreement with Public Safety Psychology, PLLC for the provision of these services for the Sullivan County 911 Center, now therefore,
