YORK STATE DIVISION OF HOMELAND SECURITY AND EMERGENCY SERVICES (NYS
DHSES)

WHEREAS, the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services (NYS
DHSES) provides funds to support efforts of public safety answering point operations; and

WHEREAS, the NYS DHSES - Office of Interoperable and Emergency Communications (OIEC), is
administering the combined SFY2025 & SFY2026 Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) operations grant program; and

WHEREAS, The FY25-26 Public Safety Answering Point grant is a reimbursement based program; and

WHEREAS, the Sullivan County Division of Public Safety - E911 Communications Department has
been deemed eligible for $306,892.00 in funding to support the improvement of public safety communications and PSAP operations for the performance period of 1/1/2026 - 12/31/2028; and
