INTRODUCED BY THE HUMAN RESOURCES COMMITTEE TO ADJUST SALARIES IN THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY’S OFFICE WHICH WILL HAVE NO ADDITIONAL COST TO THE COUNTY
WHEREAS, the District Attorney has requested an adjustment to the salary appropriations for two budgeted positions within the department; and
WHEREAS, the District Attorney is requesting a decrease of $10,000 to the vacated position No. 587; and
WHEREAS, and would like to increase Position No. 3749 by $10,000 with the funding from position No. 587 which appropriately reflects the actual responsibilities and scope of the position; and
WHEREAS, the District Attorney has reviewed this request and recommends its approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Sullivan County Legislature hereby approves an increase of $10,000 to position No. 3749, and a decrease to position No. 587 by $10,000; and be it further
RESOLVED, that this resolution shall result in no additional cost to the County of Sullivan; and be it further
RESOLVED, that this resolution shall take effect immediately.
