RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY THE SULLIVAN COUNTY LEGISLATURE TO ADOPT THE RULES OF THE COUNTY LEGISLATURE
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 153 of the County Law, the Sullivan County Legislature and its committees shall conduct their meetings in accordance with the Rules of the Legislature, and
WHEREAS, these Rules shall be interpreted by the Executive Committee, with amendments and additional rules to be adopted in accordance with the provisions of Rule 63 after consideration by said committee, and
WHEREAS, in absence of a rule or order not covered by these Rules, Robert’s Rules of Order shall govern.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Sullivan County Legislature hereby adopts the Rules of the Legislature.
