WHEREAS, the County of Sullivan, through the Sullivan County Youth Bureau, contracts with various agencies and community organizations to provide services and programming for youth throughout Sullivan County; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 268-25, adopted by the Sullivan County Legislature on June 19, 2025, authorized the allocation of 2025 County funds to various youth programs; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 285-25, adopted by the Sullivan County Legislature on July 24, 2025, authorized a modification of Resolution No. 268-25 to reallocate certain Youth Bureau funds; and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 389-25, adopted by the Sullivan County Legislature on September 18, 2025, authorized the allocation of 2025-2026 New York State Office of Children and Family Services funding and County funds to various youth programs; and
WHEREAS, certain contracts authorized under the above-referenced resolutions remain unpaid, in whole or in part; and
WHEREAS, due to year-end accruals not being completed to carry certain 2025 funds forward into 2026, it is necessary to extend all relevant unpaid contracts authorized under the above-referenced resolutions through December 31, 2026, to allow for the proper processing of claims and payment for eligible program expenses; and
WHEREAS, this resolution does not authorize any additional funding beyond the amounts previously approved by the Sullivan County Legislature under Resolution Nos. 268-25, 285-25, and 389-25, but solely authorizes the extension ...
