The purpose of this resolution is to authorize Sullivan County's participation in the SUNY Sullivan Federal Work-Study Program as a workforce development initiative designed to create meaningful experiential learning opportunities for students while supporting the County's long-term talent pipeline goals.
Through this partnership, Sullivan County will provide eligible SUNY Sullivan students with exposure to local government operations, public sector careers, and professional development opportunities while strengthening the connection between education and employment. The program supports Sullivan County's commitment to investing in workforce development, developing future public sector professionals, and creating pathways for individuals to explore careers within local government.

WHEREAS, the Human Resources Committee recognizes the importance of developing innovative workforce strategies that support recruitment, career exploration, talent pipeline development, and long-term workforce sustainability for Sullivan County; and
