RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES COMMITTEE TO AUTHORIZE THE COUNTY MANAGER TO EXECUTE AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH AND NEW YORK STATE EDUCATION DEPARTMENT PRESCHOOL SERVICE PROVIDERS
WHEREAS, Sullivan County provides mandated Early Intervention and Developmental Preschool Educational Services to eligible children within Sullivan County and is mandated to pay for such services at State-approved rates; and
WHEREAS, Sullivan County needs to authorize contract renewals with authorized New York State Education Department Preschool Service Providers for the period beginning July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2029 at State-approved rates.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Sullivan County Legislature does hereby authorize the County Manager to execute an agreement between Department of Public Health and New York State Education Department Preschool Service Providers for the period of July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2029 in such form that the County Attorney will approve.
