WHEREAS, the Department of Veterans’ Services is experiencing a significant increase in workload, and

WHEREAS, after a needs analysis was conducted, it has been determined that support is needed for clerical and customer service functions, and

WHEREAS, the Department of Veterans’ Services wishes to create a full time Clerk position to provide the support needed.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Sullivan County Legislature hereby authorizes creation of a full time Clerk position in the Department of Veterans Services. The County Legislature further authorizes this position to be filled upon approval.
