RESOLUTION INTRODUCED BY THE HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES COMMITTEE TO AUTHORIZE A MOU BETWEEN THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY SERVICES AND THE SULLIVAN BOCES RESTART PROGRAM FOR TOXICOLOGY TESTING.
WHEREAS, the Sullivan County Department of Community Services will provide weekly toxicology testing for students in the Sullivan Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) RESTART Program; and
WHEREAS, Sullivan BOCES will provide proper consents, a safe and private space, data sharing, and billing information; and
WHEREAS, the term of the contract shall start on May 27, 2025 and may be extended on an annual basis for four (4) additional years, unless terminated by either party with a 30 day written notice; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the County Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with the Sullivan BOCES to provide toxicology testing to students in the RESTART Program through the Department of Community Services; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the MOU shall remain in effect for one year and may be extended on an annual basis for four (4) additional years, unless terminated by either party with a 30 day written notice; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the form of said contract shall be approved by the Sullivan County Department of Law.
